From Santa

Well I guess there is no time like the present to make a start on next years Christmas cards! This is one I made today (OK I have a lot of images printed out for Christmas and so am trying to use them up and so there may be a few more cards in the near future until they are used up) using a Stampfairy image. I will also enter this card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch and red and green), this months CCAYR (anything goes) and the Passion for Promarkers mega challenges.

Happy New Year!

This is a card I made for Dad's Aunt (my Great Aunt) for New Year. The image is a super cute one from the original Lucy collection from DigiStamp Boutique. I have teamed it with PinkPetticoat papers which came free with a magazine. The Nellie Snellen nestie was a very nice Christmas pressie from Clare- thanks sooooooo much! I have used the nestie to cut out the image and also to make the paper flower embellishment in the right bottom corner. I will enter the card into the Passion for Promarkers mega challenge (celebrations) and this months DigiStamp Boutique customer competition.

Z is for Zingy

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas yesterday. This is actually a card I made on Christmas Eve for the current ABC Christmas challenge- I guess it will be the start of my stash for 2012 Christmas cards! Thankyou so, soooo much to Lauren for sending me this super cute LOTV stamp for Christmas (I was naughty and opened the present early since it came in with the card and fell out). For a children's card I have teamed the image with bright coloured papers and will also enter the card into the Passion for Promarkers Mega challenge and this months CCAYR challenge (anything goes).

Thankyou Jasper

And yet another 'blue thankyou card'! This time featuring Jasper with Flower from Digistamp Boutique. I will enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes) and Cute Card Thursday (sketch) challenges.

Thankyou Lucy

This time a Lucy image from the original Lucy Smith collection at DigiStamp Boutique. I have followed the sketch from this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge and will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes) and DigiDoodle Shops Best (anything goes) challenges.

Blue Lucy

I'm well in the swing of making Thankyou cards now! This one has a fairly simple layout and features one of the images from the Christmas Lucy collection at Digistamp Boutique. I think I might have gone a bit 'blue' recently looking at the cards I have made and more to follow in the the blue colour scheme!).

Louie and present

Another cutie Louie card, this time teamed with Pink Petticoat papers which came free with Quick and Easy Cards a while ago. I will enter this card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes), Digidoodle Shops Best (anything goes), Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) and Digistamp Boutique challenges.

Louie

This is another super Digistamp Bourique image which I won in Novembers customer competition. I just couldn't wait to colour this one in after seeing what the DT did with it- mine is nowhere in comparison, but I stull think the image is cute! I will enter the card into this weeks I love Promakers (blue and white) and Cute Card Thursday (stripes) challenges.

Blue and white

This weeks I love Promarkers challenge is the colour combo blue and white. I thought I'd try and get ahead and make a few Christmas thankyou cards (maybe I'm making too many assumptions though that I will need to say thankyou this time next week?? ;-)). This is a super image from the Lucy collection from Digistamp boutique. I will also enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (stripes), Pollycraft (punch- the little snowflakes are punched out) and ABC Christmas (anything Christmas-y) challenges.

Jasper

This is one of the images I chose from Digistampp Boutique after winning last months customer competition. I think Jasper is just so cute. Here I have coloured him with PMs and decoupaged the image. The photo doesn't show this very well but the image is slightly shaped. I have used my latest craft purchase (present to myself for getting my work in print for the first time) of oval nesties (combined with the scallopped nesties I already had) to frame the image. The card follows this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch and I will also enter it into this months Digistamp Boutique challenge.

Tag Time

In the past I have always said I would not make tags for Christmas presents as they are the first things to straight in the bin and never get looked at. This year I have relented for some silly reason. I think it is because I made some tags earlier in the year for the ABC Christmas challenge and now don't want some people to have home made tags on their presents and others not to and feel left out (how silly am I??). Anyway, I set to it today and made 5 tags- now every one will have a special tag on their present.
These two use images from the Lucy Christmas collection from Digistamp Boutique, which is on offer this month. I won these images in last months Customer competition- thanks so much Sally-Ann, they are super to work with and I plan to use them again very soon!
These two tags are more male orientated. The first is another Digistamp Boutique image and the second is a Pollycraft image- just perfect for Dad I think!

And finally, I have used a Stampfairy image (snowman George) on this tag:

I will enter these into this weeks Pollycraft (Christmas fun), I love Promarkers (shaped) and ABC Christmas (anything Christmass-y) challenges and this months Digistamp Boutique competition.

Red Robins and Chester

This started off being a card for this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge, but then not all the layers fitted right and so I decided just to go with what looked better rather than add the extra layers for the sake of it. A shame since I wanted to enter the challenge this week... Any way I have used Sweet Chester image from Pollycraft to make this card, teamed with Papermania Hugs and Honey papers from last year. The stitching is faux this time.
I will enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft (Christmas fun), Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and ABC Christmas (Yippee its nearly Christmas- anything Christmass-y) challenges and this months CCAYR (anything goes) challenge.

Final 2012 calendar!

After a bit of a mammoth calendar making session the last few weeks this is my 6th and final 2012 calendar, which is a Christmas present for one of my friends. This time I have used my LOTV stamp 'Emma's shoes' since my friend loves clothes shopping! I have made the calendar quite girly and added hand stitching round the edges of the papers and the image.
I will enter this into this weeks DCD (make a date) and Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) challenges.

DIY Chester

Another calendar (only one more to go now- to make next weekend I think!). This time, the calendar is for my parents who are always doing DIY and so this Chester image from Pollycraft is just perfect. I will enter this into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (numbers), DCD (calendars) and Willow Sketchie (anything goes) challenges.

Super Science

My fourth calendar done! This time I have used this Luna Science image from Pollycraft for a friend who is doing a PhD in microbiology (I really hope she isn't reading this, but I know she is on holiday at the moment!). The papers are glitter embossed and I have added extra gems for more sparkle. I will enter this into this weeks Digidoodle shops best (sparkle), DCD (calendar and dates) and Cute Card Thursday (number- calendars are all numbers) challenges.

Snowman George

Well, it has taken me a while to make a card for this weeks ABC Christmas challenge (X is for xerox), but I knew I had to do it this weekend. I have completed all the other challenges this year and so couldn't let one go so close to the end of the year. The idea behind the challenge is to 'xerox' one of the DT cards from a previous challenge. Here I have 'xeroxed' Lacey's tag from the P is for Photo inspiration challenge (I have used a George the snowman Stampfairy image (specially bought for the challenge in the fab 50% off sale to celebrate Stampfairy's birthday!) and taken the green, red and white colour scheme along with the cord across the bottom).
For my card I have followed the sketch of this weeks Stampfairy challenge (which had the extra twist of finishing off the inside of the card, which I have done). I will also enter the card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (anything goes) and I love Promarkers (snowmen and snowflakes- both on the image) and this months CCAYR (anything goes) and Pollycraft (Christmas fun) challenges.

Sparkly Pengiun

Well, better late than never. Last Saturday, Rosie set the challenge on CMLI to make a card inspired by a very fun Christmas poem and with the colours blue and white. I made this card very slowly during the week. The papers I have used are from the PP big spot collection I recently downloaded and the image is a Meljen's Designs image that I won the other week on the Cute Card Thursday challenge.
I will enter this card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (sketch), Digidoodle Shops Best (sparkle) and Willow Sketchie (anything goes) challenges and this months CCAYR (anything goes) and Pollycraft (Christmas fun) challenges.
