Another 2012 calendar I'm afraid (only 3 more to make now!). This time I have used a Wild Rose Studio stamp that I only bought the other day from CES. It is a stamp I have been admiring for a while and I do like cute dragon images. I will enter this card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes) and Passion for Promarkers (swirls and sparkle) challenges.

Swings and Slides calendar
This is the second calendar for 2012 that I made this weekend. This time I have used a cute Pollycraft Swings and Slides image that I have had for a while and not yet used. Isn't it cute?? The papers are from a 'First Edition' range and they are so nice it is hard to cut into them- lol! I will enter this into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) and I love Promarkers (anything goes) challenges.
Apologises to anyone who has been having problems leaving me a comment recently. I have been having problems accessing blogger some days too- not sure what is going on other than blogger is playing up a bit. Fingers crossed that this week it behaves itself!

2012 Calendar
I bought a packet of 2012 calendars to make my own ages and ages ago now but haven't got round to actually making any. With Christmas fast approaching I had better get a move on since I wanted to give some home made calendars as Christmas presents. (Last year I didn't do this and then my grandparents asked me at New year where their calendar was!) This is one I have made for my brother. He probably won't appreciate it (probably be left at Mum and Dad's house in a cupboard all year) but I enjoyed making it! Now I have made a start I hope I can keep up the motivation for the other 5 I have planned! Maybe I have even inspired you to have a go??
I will enter this into this weeks I love Promarkers challenge (anything goes) and this months Digistamp Boutique competition.

Grey and green
This weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge is the colour combo grey and green which is a little different and so I thought I'd give it a go. This is quite a small card. The sentiment is from Digi doodle shop and the image from Pink petticoat. I have followed the sketch from this months CCAYR challenge (my 5th card of the month and there are 10 more days left!). I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers challenge (Christmas trees).

White on White
It's been a while since I have made a true white on white card and today I felt like a challenge and so have given it a go again. This time I have not added so many layers since the base card has a quite nice hammered texture. The image is this months freebie from Digistamp Boutique and I just love it!
I will enter the card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (white on white), CES (snowflakes) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.

Red and Green Santa
This weeks Digi Doodle Shops Best challenge is the colour combo red and green. I wanted to use my PP big spotty papers again and so this time I have printed out the crimson ones. The sentiment is from the PP download and the image is a Santa Chimney from Stampfairy.
I will enter this card into this weeks Stampfairy challenge (glitter) and this months CCAYR challenge (sketch).

Dotty Christmas
I have been eyeing up these Pink Petticoat papers since they were released and decided to give in and buy them on Sunday. I think I probably have enough cards for this Christmas, but after writing a list of who to send cards to (and it was much longer than I expected!) I thought that a few 'flatter' cards which would be a little cheaper to post were needed else I'd spend a fortune on postage stamps! Having said that, I couldn't resist mounting the penguin pictures on foam pads like normal- when will I learn!
I will enter the cards into this months CCAYR (sketch) and this weeks ABC Christmas (winter sports- the middle card perhaps doesn't count but the other two do!) challenges.

Angel Love
This weeks I love Promarkers challenge is a sketch. I decided to use a Robyn's fetish image for this card that I got a while ago and not yet used. I wasn't sure whether to make another Christmas card, or a more anytime card and opted for the latter in the end. The roses are hand made- it's been a while since I made those roses but it felt like the right thing to add for this card. I will also enter the card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (kraft + one other colour (red)) and CES (roses and ribbon) challenges.
Cuthbert Skiing
This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'W is for winter sports' and so I have dug out this super Pollycraft image of Cuthbert skiing to use on this card. I have also followed the sketch from this weeks Pollycraft challenge.

Warm and Cosy
This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Lauren- there was a sketch with the theme of 'warm and cosy'. I got this image given to me last year some time and thought it fitted the bill. For a change I decided to colour it with water colours rather than PMs. I am quite pleased with the result and it was fun for a change, although I don't see me giving up my PMs! I even got out the sewing machine and did battle with it to put some stitching round the edges. The rossette flower is one I made out of an off-cut of fabric. The papers and the distressing give the card a vintage-type look I hope. I will enter the card into this weeks ABC Christmas challenge ('V is for Vintage').

Glittery Christmas
This weeks Stampfairy challenge is a sketch and I love sketches and so had to have a go. I have used a Barry Winter image. I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers challenge (glitter and glitz at Christmas).
Retro Chester
I recently bought the full set of Chester images from Pollycraft and I am so glad I did- I think this little monkey is so cute. I have made this card for a college who listens to music while he works wearing big head phones. It is his birthday soon, but I think he is too young to have ever really listened to music from a cassette!
I will enter this card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), Pollycraft Monday (anything goes), Passion for Promarkers (a walk in the zoo) and CES (song or film- 'happy birthday to you,..' ) challenges.
