I started making this card last night and finished it off just now. I was given this image from a friend but wasn't quite sure how to colour it, I hope it looks OK now. I decided this was a perfect image to go with the sparkly bling themed challenges this week. I will enter the card into this weeks Pear Tree Designs challenge (sparkle), Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), I love Promarkers (sparkly bling) and Cute Card Thursday (embellish the image- I have added glitter and gems).

Finally a card!
I've had a relative crafting drought the last few weeks one way or another. I did want to do some cards last weekend but with going home for my birthday it all got put off. I have missed some really good challenges in the last 3 weeks too :(. Never mind I made this card last night and might get time to make another today. I have used a Pollycraft Swings and Slides image which I hadn't used before- great to work with and a pleasure to colour. I have designed the card for the following challenges this week- Pollycraft Monday (embellishment bingo- buttons, sparkle and charm), Pear Tree Designs (sketch), Digidoodle shops Best (anything goes) and Passion for Promarkers (twos- two designer papers, two different coloured matting papers, two buttons).

Congrats
A few weeks ago I went back home and picked up this stamp. I didn't use it much last year when I bought it, but I think this year it will be used a lot. I made this card for one of the girls I work with who will complete her degree in the next 2 months. I think I will be making more for my flatmates (who will finish their Masters soon) and for the other girl I work with.
I am entering this into this weeks Pear Tree Designs (free for all) and I love Promarkers (song title- Congratulations by Cliff Richard) challenges.

This weeks Pollycraft Monday challenge was the theme 'fun and games'. I have used one of the Slides and Swings images to make this card (first time I have used this image and it was great to work with). I will also enter the card into this weeks CES (spring), Pear Tree Designs (colourful) and Digi Doodle Shop's Best (anything goes) challenges.

Fluffy Wabbit
I just love this image from the Cogs and Critters range from Pollycraft and wanted to make another Easter card with it after going home last weekend and picking up some Easter papers which I had there. (OK it is a bit late for this year, but I can keep it for next year.) The card didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to, but never mind.
I will enter it into this weeks CES challenge (spring), Pear Tree Designs (colourful) and CMLI themed challenge (chocolate).

Spring Ducks
This weeks Pollycraft challenge is to use an old favourite or neglected image. I have chosen to print out this duck parade image which I haven't used since last spring. I just think it is a super image for Easter, especially since where I live at the moment I am surrounded by ducks and geese all the time (and boy are they making a lot of noise at the moment!). I haven't seen any little ducklings yet, but being a university campus I expect the mother ducks keep their offspring well sheltered until they are old enough to face the world.
I will also enter this card into this weeks Pear Tree Designs challenge (sketch) and I love Promarkers challenge (Easter). Some pictures of the real ducks!

Popcorn Christmas Snowman
This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'E is for embossing and embellishments'. I have embossed the circle behind the image with snowflakes and added 5 heart gems and a button.
I made this card also for the CMLI Christmas recipe challenge which Kathy set a week or so ago. (The recipe was 1) a snowman, 2) hot chocolate (the brown backing), 3) marshmallow colours, 4) snowflakes and glitter.) I will also enter the card into this weeks Pear Tree Designs challenge (ribbon).

Baby boy
I hardly ever make a birthday card, but this week the theme on Passion for Promarkers was 'baby cards'. Well, I thought I would give it a go since my cousin is due in early April and so I will need a card for then at least. I found I had this digi from Digi Doodle shop from the summer that I had never used. I have teamed it will Willow Design pastel papers. This card is in case she has a boy and I will make another card in the next few weeks, in case she has a girl- that way I am covered!
I will also enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft Monday challenge (sweet pastel colours) and Pear Tree Designs challenge (free for all).

D is for decorations
As part of the 'Z is for zero time left' ABC Christmas challenge you can replay one of the previous challenges or do a challenge which you missed. This is my second entry and I have choosen to replay 'D is for Decorations' since I had this really fun image and wanted to use it. I have used the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and have decided to try a simple and modern look to the card- alot more white space than I usually do. Have I pulled it off, or does it just look as if it is missing something, I wonder...
I will also enter the card into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers- anything goes
Pear Tree designs- anything goes Christmas
CES- anything goes

This weeks sketchie on CMLI was set by Karen and the theme was 'Keep it Simple'. I will enter the card into the following challenges:

Christmas Carols
This weeks sketchie for CMLI was set by Lauren and the theme was open to allow people to make Christmas cards if they wanted or something else, if not. I got this image last week in the half price Pollycraft promotion and couldn't wait to use it- I have been admiring it on other people's cards for ages. This is my first attempt.
The sketch is from CMLI, but I will enter the card into a number of challenges this week:
PTD - winter wonderland
Passion for Promarkers - anything goes mega Christmas challenge
I love Promarkers- Christmas Carols/Songs
ABC Christmas - Y is for Yuletide (red and green or holly and berries or candles).
DCD Christmas challenge- Christmas carol
A special thanks to the Passion for Promarkers team for the candy I won in their last challenge and blog hop.

Penguin Love
I just loved this Pollycraft Friday freebie image from a few weeks ago. It has taken me a while to get round to using it since I have only recently been reunited with my craft stash. I made this card for this weeks Pollycraft Monday challenge (doodling- I have doodled in glitter gel pens around the bps), Pear Tree Designs (sketch) and I Love Promarkers (icy colours) challenges. I did make a bit of a mistake when colouring the image by putting blush on the male penguin's cheeks, but hopefully it isn't too bad and the recipient doesn't notice that the male penguin is 'wearing make up'!
