U R A STAR

This is my last Cogs and Critters card for this week- I managed to get a bit of time this afternoon to make it. I have coloured him in my favourite colour blue (Lime Green PM first and then Sky Blue and Cobalt Blue PM on top), for the Pollycraft Colour Your Critter competition. I will also enter this card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and I love Promarkers challenge (stitching).

Beer Monster

I can't resist Pollycraft's Cogs and Critters range and have made another card! Ok I bought a few new images last weekend and printed them out and so why not use them??? They are so fun to colour and easy to use. This time I have used Beer Monster and coloured his T-shirt in my favourite colour blue. I will also enter this card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge, which is 'one for the boys'. Will I get time to make a 4th C&C card today??? Maybe- depends on how much uni work I get through first. I really want to use one of my new cutesy critters- either the one in a space ship, the one holding a star or the cosmic day one- I have seen many great ideas with these images this week and want to have a go myself.

Double Trouble

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'D is for double trouble' in that you have to use a digi image, two backing papers and at least two embellishments. If you are adventurous you can try to use two images, one fo which can be a sentiment. I have used a Pollycraft image and a sentiment from Sentiments for U, along with 2 backing papers, a flower and a bow.I will also enter this card into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (diamonds and pearls- there are 3 diamond-like gems on the bauble and 3 pearls in the centre of the flower) and I love Promarkers challenge (stitching).

Cogs and Critters again!

I'm inspired by the Cogs and Critters party on Tales of Pollycraft this week and have made a second card, this time using 'Cogs Flower'. My last blog post I used 'Fluffy' coloured in my favourite colour, blue, but this time I have coloured my 'critter' with my favourite PM colour- Burnt Orange. (I hope this wasn't sketching the rules of the 'colour your critter' competition.) I have followed this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch and will also enter the card into this weeks CES challenge (spots and stripes).

Fluffy!!

I was so excited to see that Paula from Pollycraft was having a Cogs and Critters party!!! I just love these images (along with most of the other Pollycraft images) and already had a few. Now I have quite a few more, after a little spending spree- well I just couldn't help but take advantage of the offer! There is a party competition to colour a Cogs and Critters image in your favourite colour. This is my first attempt using Fluffy and I have opted for a simple design and coloured him in my favourite colour- blue.I have some other card ideas up my sleeve to use my new images on, just depends on how much time I get this week as to whether I get to join in again. Thanks Paula for all the inspiration and for the fab competition.

Mainly white

The CMLI sketchie set today by Kathy had the theme to use a DL card and have lots of white space on the card. I thought this was perfect to trying out this weeks Stampfairy challenge too, which is white with a touch of colour. I have used a really cute Stampfairy image with a white embossed background and a touch of blue.

Baby girl

A few weeks ago I made a baby boy card and now I have made a baby girl card. My cousin is having a baby in a few months time and it is just as well to be prepared with a card for either a boy or a girl! I love this Pollycraft image- it is the first time I have used it, but it was easy to colour and use. I will enter the card into this weeks DCD challenge (baby girl) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch has been rotated 90 degrees).

Happy Birthday DAD !!!

It's Dad's 60th Birthday tomorrow and this is the card I made him. I actually made it in December, but couldn't post it until now in case he saw it. Both my parents are away in New Zealand at the moment (see what they are up to on their blog) and so I can post the card now as it is already tomorrow there and he has opened it! (Mum took the cards in her suitcase.)I will enter this into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (special birthdays) and Digistamp Boutique monthly competition. If you like the image then please pop over to CES where it is being sold to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Emma's father.

Ghost of Christmas Present

Last week it was Clare's turn to host the CMLI Christmas recipe cook up and the ingredients were a ghostly white, a touch of traditional Christmas colours, a present and a bow or knot. I have made this card using a Pollycraft image and following the sketch from the current ABC Christmas challenge. I have kept the card clean and simple.

I love PMs birthday!

This week it has been a year since Karen took over at I love Promarkers!!! This challenge was one of the reasons why I started blogging- so that I could join in after I got some PMs. I certainly have not looked back- I love blogging and I certainly love my Promarkers. I just wish I had a bit more time to join in every week, but couldn't everyone do with a bit more spare time??? In case you are interested, check out my 1st, 100th and 200th blog posts- they were all for I love PM challenges. (I will try to make my 300th post too, but got a bit to go first (currently 255 I think).)
I made this birthday card for my cousin (we are the same age (I'm older by 3 days!)). It is a bit in advance, but good to have one made. The image is from Stampfairy.
I have used the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.

Pear Tree Designs (free for all)
Passion for Promarkers (love theme)
