Tortoise blues

I went to town on this card a bit with the embellies- all hand made mind and so they didn't cost (apart from the dies, papers, ....  who am I kidding when I say it didn't cost??). I will enter the card into this weeks Sketchy (sketch) and Passion for Promarkers (blue plus one other colour- pink).

Monster Birthday

Needing to distract myself today and so have done a bit of crafting.  I also wanted to cheer myself up and so made this card with lots of bright colours- just what you need when it is raining all day and a bit dark out.  We do need the rain though, so I'm not moaning about it.
I will enter the card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) and Passion for Promarkers (blue plus green) challenge.

What's green a spotty?

Birthday Bobbi, or at least on this card he is!  I have fallen in love with the DigiStamp Boutique character 'Bobbi'.  He is a cutie isn't he?
Having a chill out this afternoon I went to town a bit on this card- distressing the papers and making an easel card for a change.  I will enter the card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (easel card) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.

Baby

My friend is pregnant and due in August.  I was looking through my card stash and I have a few baby boy cards already made but no baby girl ones.  I think this card ended up being more neutral than girly, what do you think?
I used one of the new Bobbi images from DigiStamp Boutique.  I will enter the Sketchy challenges blog for the first time.  I think that I have included everything on the sketch in some way- maybe not exactly as it was laid out though.  If this is not appropriate, then please let me know.  I would like to take part in future weeks too.

Anniversary

Ok.  I am still playing catch up- who am I kidding??  It's Mum and Dad's anniversary in a few weeks and so I needed to make a card (it needs to be sent to France). Another DigiStamp Boutique image.  I will enter this into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.

Book worm

My Mum is certainly a book worm when she isn't busy with other stuff- in the last few months I think she has been doing too much DIY and gardening etc (I think both my parents need to give it a rest for a while, but then they don't listen to me as much as I don't listen to them- lol!).  Anyway, it is Mum's birthday soon and so I thought I would give her an Amazon voucher to buy books for her Kindle.  This image I got from DigiStamp Boutique a while ago (first time I have used it) seems very apt.
I will enter this card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenge.

Sunshine

I'm very much hoping that the sunny weekend which is forecast materialises...  I know it was warm most places last Sunday but for some reason it didn't really reach Birmingham.  There was a distinct chill in the breeze.  Not too bad though, all things considered.  Still, I'm hoping to be able to sit outside and take in the days this Sunday :-)
I started to make this card on Sunday, in lieu of the sun.  I will enter it into this weeks I love Promarkers (photo- lots of yellow taken from the photo), Digi Sketch (theme- summer) and Di's digi (summer) challenges. The image is another DigiStamp Boutique one :-)

The owl and the pussy cat

Or maybe not....  but it is a birdie out of the window at least!  I fell in love with this DigiStamp Boutique image when I was in Australia and couldn't wait to get home to use it.  This is my second card.  I like the way you can make it your own.  In this case I have combined it with another set- `little birdie told me'- released last year.
I will enter this card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge (fly like a bird).

Flower Frenzy

I so want a weekend/week/month just to craft my heart out and relax.  Not going to happen...  I did try and make the most of yesterday afternoon though.  Feel like I am constantly playing catch up at the moment.  I have a list of cards as long as my arm to make.  This weekend the challenge was thankyou cards for birthday presents.  (My birthday was a month ago and so the cards are well over due :-(.)
I love this DigiStamp Boutique set of images and want to get them all out...  in time it will happen.
I will enter this card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes), Pollycraft (anything goes- whoopee Pollycraft has re-opened!  I will used Pollycraft images in future challenges), Passion for Promarkers (at least 5 flowers) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.

Engagement

A childhood friend got engaged the other week and so, even though we don't keep in contact (our parents do), I thought it would be nice to send her a card.  Another Digistamp Boutique image in action- am I addicted??

Father's Day

I had to make this card today for next Sunday.  Good chance to use the DigiStamp Boutique image that I bought in April in Australia too.
I will enter this into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Hobby Cutz challenges.

Home

Wow it has been a long time since I have been able to spend time at the weekend making cards with my regular stash.  I was itching to get my PMs out last weekend but jet lag just didn't allow it.  Got a pile of cards that need making too- only made a small indent so far.
It is my turn to set the monthly challenge on CMLI too.  I chose the theme 'home and/or away'.  These are two 'home' cards that I made using Digi Stamp Boutique images (had to have a battle to get my printer to work again after 5 months...).

Rocking Christmas

Seeing as I bought this DigiStamp Boutique image a few weeks ago and have only used it so far on a tag I thought I'd get it out again and make a proper card.  I also wanted to try a rocker card again.
I will enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything but a square) challenge.

A Christmas card for 2013!

Well, better to make a start now while I am in the mood. (Also I wanted to use this DigiStamp Boutique image again).  I will enter the card into this weeks ABC Christmas (Z is for zoo animals- you can get owls in zoos in the UK) challenge.

Happy Birthday

Another birthday card- this time for my Dad.  I have used a Winston DigiStamp Boutique image again, along with this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch.  I will also enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and Passion for Promarkers ('happy' birthday) challenges.

Happy 30th!

I have been meaning to make a 30th birthday card for my brother for a while.  His birthday isn't until May, but I have to make it before I go away in 7 days time!

I will enter this card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers ('happy' birthday) challenge.  The image is from Digistamp Boutique.

Monster Birthday!

I love these DigiStamp Boutique monster images.  I made this card with Clare's CMLI challenge in mind.

Winston in Love

I just adore the DigiStamp Boutique Winston images.  Ok, I should have been spending my time making cards that I NEED rather than a valentines one which I will never use, but I just had to colour this image up and make him into a card...

I will enter this into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenge.

Girly tags

I thought I had enough Christmas tags but after wrapping up a few presents I seem to have none left and so I have made a few more this weekend.  These two are using new DigiStamp Boutique images:

I will also enter these into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes) and Di's digi downloads (anything but a card Christmas) challenges.

Putting up the tree

Have you put your tree up yet?  We haven't.  Mum says we might do it next weekend.  I love this DigiStamp Boutique image of Percy the penguin dragging the tree home to decorate.

I will enter this card into this weeks ABC Christmas ('X'), I love Promarkers (anything goes), MAWTT (twine, tree and turquoise) and Willow Sketchie (sketch) challenges.
