Bear-y Snow-y

I just love the 'Bobbi' character at the moment from DigiStamp Boutique and bought the very newly released Christmas set of images.  I used my new Memory Box snowflake die on this card for the first time too.
I will enter this card into this weeks Sketchy, Di's Digi (stitching), Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and Digi Sketch (anything goes) challenges and this months Ready Teddy Go (dies of punches) challenge.

Robot Birthday

I bought some of the new Pollycraft images the other day and this is the first time I have had to use them.  I also broke open one of my new paper packs on this card.
I will enter the card into this weeks I Love Promarkers (mechanical), Sketchy (sketch), Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and Digi Sketch (anything goes) challenges.

Birthdays...

seem to be coming thick and fast.  I made this little card for one of the people I worked with in Australia.  I will send a batch of cards over to them next weekend for all the birthdays in August (4).  I was planning on making 4 new cards but ran out of time and so will raid my card stash for the other three.
I will enter this into this weeks Pollycraft and Cute Card Thursday (stars and stripes) challenges.

Well Done

Just when I thought I had a very long list of cards to make already, another occasion comes along which requires a card.  I don't mind this one though as it is for a cousin who has just graduated with a 2.1 from Sheffield in Leeds.  She hasn't had the best of times but has done so well.  I wish her every success in the future too.

I will enter this card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (fly like a bird), Passion for Promarkers (song- 'Congratulations', by Cliff Richard) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.  Again I am addicted to DigiStamp Boutique...!

The owl and the pussy cat

Or maybe not....  but it is a birdie out of the window at least!  I fell in love with this DigiStamp Boutique image when I was in Australia and couldn't wait to get home to use it.  This is my second card.  I like the way you can make it your own.  In this case I have combined it with another set- `little birdie told me'- released last year.
I will enter this card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge (fly like a bird).

I'm off...

...for a bit. Catching the plane at 10.10am from LHR tomorrow morning and so all packed and ready(?) to go.  I'm an art journalling novice and this is probably something which would be better made into a journal page than a card (who am I going to send it to), but I made a card to mark my journey and 5 months away in Australia which is coming up.  I most likely won't be crafting while I am away (20 kg is just too small to allow me to include craft stash as well as clothes and other essentials for 5 months), or at least not card making.  I might try my hand at digital scrapbooking and/or I have packed quite a lot of cross stitch to keep me busy in the evenings.  But of course I am going all that way to work on the final stages of my PhD and it would be a shame not to have a bit of a look round too, so spare time might be in short supply...

I am back in the Uk on 31st May and will probably hit the craft 'table' like made then to make up for lost time! (and as a distraction/to keep me sane in the months of 'thesis writing').  Keep in touch xxx
I will enter this card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers and Cute Card Thursday (something new) challenges.

Baby Boy

So many 'new' challenges out there this week.  I don't actually know anyone due to have a baby in the near future but thought I would make a card with this cute image that was given to me by Debs- thanks!
I will enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (something new), Passion for Promarkers (something new), Willow Sketchie (anything goes) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) as well as this months Ready Teddy Go (something new) challenges.

Engagement!

My friend text me on Boxing Day to say that she had just got engaged!!!  That called for a card:

I will enter this into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch) and Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) challenges.

Happy Birthday

Another birthday card- this time for my Dad.  I have used a Winston DigiStamp Boutique image again, along with this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch.  I will also enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and Passion for Promarkers ('happy' birthday) challenges.

Thankyous

I received some fab flower stamps from Clare for Christmas and couldn't wait to get them out and use them. They are perfect for this time of year and thankyou cards I think (although I think they would also be perfect for a lot of different occasions).  Taking inspiration from Clare- the colours and design of some of her projects- I came up with these cards:

I will enter these into this weeks MAWTT challenge (thanks) and Cute Card Thursday (anything goes).

Santa tag

Another tag that I made today:

I will enter this into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (red and green) and Di's digi downloads (anything but a card Christmas) challenges.

Red and Green

Well, I guess you have to make some red and green cards at Christmas, don't you?

I will enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (red and green), I love Promarkers (anything goes) ABC Christmas (X- faux x-stitch across the border paper in the middle of the card) and Willow Sketchie (sketch) challenges.

Distressed Penguin

I decided to use this DigiStamp Boutique image today for the first time.  I have made my own background in part with a bit of distressing and faux tearing.
I will enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (anything goes), Passion for Promarkers (distressing), ABC Christmas ('X'- crossed twine), Cute Card Thursday (snowflakes) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.

Just for You

Another of those Lily of the Valley cat images this time using this weeks Cute Card Thursday sketch.  I will also enter the card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge (in the garden- lots of flowers).

Pink Christmas

Nothing wrong with a pink Christmas card, I think....  Here's one I made using a DigiStamp Boutique image. I will enter the card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (sketch) and I love Promarkers (pink) challenges.

Pink Christmas

This is another newish digi that got its first outing this weekend.  I will enter this card into this months Ready Teddy Go (pink, brown and cream) challenge and this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), I love Promarkers (anything goes), Cute Card Thursday (glitter) and ABC Christmas (up to you) challenges.

Cheeky Elf

This elf was a freebie from Digistamp Boutique a few months ago and I have been meaning to use him for ages.  I will enter this card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch), I love Promarkers (anything goes), ABC Christmas (up to you) and Cute card Thursday (glitter) challenges.

Pink Santa

Inspired by this weeks ABC Christmas challenge I thought I'd make another 'quilted' card (a good way to use up all those scrap bits of paper too).  I will enter this into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) Cute Card Thursday (bling) and Willow Sketchie (Christmas) challenges.

Barry Skiing

Not had much time for crafting this weekend, but I made this card at the end of last week and so will post it now.  I will enter it into this weeks Willow Sketchie (Christmas in August) and Cute Card Thursday (bling) challenges and this months Ready Teddy Go (anything goes) challenge.

Back to School

Gosh the summer seems to be flying, but I guess it is half way through August now.  School and school holidays are long in the past for me but my friend is going to start a teacher training position in September and so I made her a good luck card today.  I thought I was break from the usual and made a pyramid card- been a while but I made quite a few this time last year.  I enjoyed it and so must make some more!
I will enter this card into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (back to school), MAWTT (not a square) and Passion for Promarkers (shaped card) challenges.
