I couldn't get on the internet last night and so had plenty of time to make this card. The image is a digi one from Pollycraft, which I got last week. I tried to make the card a bit special by making a shaker out of the image and using handmade paper roses. The sketch has been rotated by 90 degrees too.
(I don't normally make many wedding cards, but a friend asked if I would make some for her to give this year and so decided to make a start.)

Lets Get Stamping- 27th February
Yesterdays sketchie was set by Rosie and the twist was to include digi images or papers- something digi at any rate! There is a special prize offered this week- one of Sharon Armstrong's great downloads from Willow Designs. Hence the aim was to think creatively.
PDS- Challenge 10
This weeks challenge was to 'think birthday'. This is my second entry this week. I started making this card based on the Willow Stetchie Challenge sketch, but have changed bits to make it fit. It is for my Grandma, who is 85 in a few weeks time. I have made several cards already that I was thinking of giving to her, but then I found out she is 85, and so had to make another special card!

WSC 25th February, Pixie Dust Studio 10
This weeks WSC sketch was set by Karen and had lots of layers in it. I liked trying out the layout and have quite a few special birthday cards I have to make at the moment and so used this sketch to make one for a friend who is 30 soon. I will enter it for this weeks Pixie Dust Studio Challenge too, which is to create a birthday themed card. I discovered today that you can get craft stuff from Oxfam too! The sentiment on the card is from there and is printed on hand made paper from Nepal.

I love Promarkers Challenge 3
This week the challenge was to follow the sketch, which included two images and to use stitching (faux, machine or hand) on the card. I made two cards (as usual- had two ideas and made too many stitched flowers to go on one card and so had to make the second to use them up!). They both have flowers hand embroidered using the outline sitckers you can get and one has some faux stitching round the images. I also added some glossy accents, to make bits shiny.
I will also enter the Easter card into the Die Cut Dreams challenge this week, whoes theme is Easter.

JS Prize
I got my prize from Joanna Sheen yesterday for the I love Promarkers challenge last week. It was a great prize as they sent the gift voucher in a handmade card!
Lets Get Stamping- 20th February
This weeks sketch was set by Han (GDT) and the twist was to include animals. I had this great dragon free download which i wanted to use on a card (maybe stretching it a bit with the animals?) and made another with a Pink Petticoat Easter chick, from which I have cut off the greeting a made a birthday card.

WSC 18th February
This weeks challenge was set yesterday and it was the first week with Lauren and Rosie on the Willow Sketchie DT. They have done some fab cards for the LGS group on Craftbubble and so can't wait to see their cards for WSC too!
I made a couple of cards using this sketch- which was great to use. I have tried to make some A6 cards this week so that I can put them in the Cancer Research bags.

I love Promarkers Challenge 2
I won last weeks prize for the first challenge of the new look I love Promarkers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very excited and have already had a look at Joanna Sheen's website to see what I would like to buy with the prize.
Yesterdays challenge was to follow the sketch and use the theme of spring. I made two cards. The first uses a daffodil image which I was sent in an image swap on Craftbubble. I really like daffodils- they must be my favourite flower, and there is nothing more spring like than daffs!
The second card uses the free papers inside the latest issue of Cardmaking and Papercraft, which says they are spring papers. They have got little pretty flowers all over them, but are more pastel than the bright daffodils.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge 34
This weeks challenge for Pollycraft Monday was to 'double up'. This meant using two different images on one card. I thought this 'righted the balance' a bit after Lauren banned stamped images from this weeks Lets Get Stamping sketchie!
I found this harder than I thought to make the card and so am not that pleased with the result, but will enter it anyway. The images are from Papermania's Stamp Duos last year.

ECP Challenge 6
This time the challenge was to follow a sketch set by one of the DT. It is quite a detailed sketch and I think would probably suite a scrapbook page better than a card. I managed to fit most of the items on (all except the title) but i made it a bit more minimal than usual by not doing much matting and layering. The image is one sent to me in the image swap on Craftbubble. I think it is cute. (I decided to make the circle out of a ring of beads and glitter glue rather than a different piece of paper, for a change.)

LGS Sketchie 13th February
This weeks challenge was set by Lauren and the twist this week was that the main element couldn't be a stamped image, but since it is a stamping group there had to be some stamping on the card. This was quite difficult, but I made a heart from Iris folding one one card and a butterfly (the vellum is stamped with gold flowers but not that visable in the photo) on the other.
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge 8
This weeks challenge was to use the colours red and or pink with white and black. I made this Valentines type card last night, not that it is going to anyone! I kept it quite simple because I think red, black and white are quite strong colours together. The image is one from Pixie Dust Studio and I really like it.

D is for Decorations
I made this card for this weeks ABC Christmas challenge, which is 'D for decorations'. I decided to use the sketch from Willow Sketchie Challenge because I was using one of Sharon's Willow Design downloads and thought it might be good to post the card on that too, so that she can see her designs! The decorations are Anita's dimensions stickers, which I got in a sale after Christmas last year. The paper is from a Christmas kit I have had for ages and not used.
WSC 11th Feb
Yesterdays sketchie for this weeks Willow Sketchie Challenge was a circular design. I don't usually vary away from square or rectangular cards, but am pleased with the result of this and so might use it more often! The stamped image is a Sugar Nellie sent to me by a friend on the Image Swap on Craftbubble. I really like it and it makes me want to buy some more of their stamps!

I love Promarkers 10th Feb
Yesterday the new format for the challenges started on I love Promarkers and I was really looking forward to this! This time the challenge was to follow the sketch and to use the colours pink and brown. This is my entry, made with a stamped image I recieved from a friend on Craftbubble.

LGS Challenge 6th February
Pixie Dust Studio Challenge 7
This is my entry for this weeks challenge, which is to use a decorative border. I have used punched flowers with glitter centres as a border for the main image.

Willow Sketchie Challenge 4th Feb
This is my entry for this weeks Willow Sketchie Challenge. I was a bit tired when making it and so it took ages and not too sure about the result, but thought I put it in anyway.

Cheers!
This is a card I made last night for some family friends who are moving to New Zealand soon. I like cats and thought this image was fun.
Pollycraft Monday 33- Things with wings!
This is my entry for this weeks Pollycraft challenge. The stamped image is the first Magnolia image that I have used (sent to me by a friend on Craft Bubble- thankyou!). I was experimenting with my new promarker colours and went a bit bright, so I decided to add bright papers to the background too.

ECP Challenge 5
The challenge this time was to create something with a valentines theme for a man. I wasn't quite sure if this was for a man to give to a woman (or another man) or something to be given to a man. Anyway I made one which would work either way I think! (Not that I have much intention of using it... lol!) I got the idea of the 3D heart from Cardmaking and Papercraft, but I don't have a heart stamp. I improvised a bit by stamping and heat embossing flowers randomly on red card and then drawing a heart outline in embossing pen and adding the silver powder to that as well.
