Real Stamping

Ok, this may sound silly, but if the truth be known, I'm not much good at actually stamping with ink.  Digistamps are perfect for me!  But sometimes it is good to try and push yourself into new directions, which is what I have been doing a bit recently.  I love the projects that others make using black stamping and paper piecing and so had a go this week one afternoon when I was feeling pants with a cold.
This first card follows this weeks Retro Sketch layout:
Was the ribbon on the bottom too much?  Somehow I can't just leave things!
The second card uses this weeks Stamplorations layout:

Even if you doubt yourself with ink you are fab with digi's! I think the card would have looked like it was missing something without the bow. Love the 2nd card too - pop of colour looks fab x

Fab makes Louise ... I'm the other way, I prefer real stamping and have never really gotten to grips with digis - good job we're not all the same though, isn't it?

Happy Friday, have a great weekend

Its funny, how we all have our preferences - I for one avoid digi stamps - you gotta force me to use them.... Love your interpretation of this sketch and the bright colors! Thanks for playing with us at STAMPlorations - hope to see you here soon again. Hugs, Cornelia STAMPlorations-DT

Absolutely not, definitely needs the ribbon in my opinion too. Love how you set the bow to one side -love it. Love the way you are trying new things.
