Blue Christmas

Ooops I made this card last weekend for the CMLI challenge (theme- blue Christmas) but didn't post it on my blog. I will enter it into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (anything goes). The image is a Pollycraft one, from the Chester Christmas set.

1st Christmas

Wow I won last weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge- I was thrilled to bits. For this weeks challenge they have a sketch and I have made this card for my cousin's baby. It will be her first Christmas and so I thought it would be nice to give a special card to mark the occasion. I will also enter this card into this weeks Digi Doodle Shops Best challenge (anything goes).

V is for Vintage

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is V is for vintage. I'm not too good at vintage cards and so I hope this one fits the bill. I have used some lovely papers which I have been saving up for ages- hard to cut into them. The stamp is an Elyzbells one that I have used a few times recently. I have been very good this year with the ABC Christmas challenges and haven't missed a challenge yet- I'm very impressed with myself since it is nearly Christmas and there aren't many more letters of the alphabet left to do!
I have followed the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and will also enter the card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (children) and Digidoodle Shops Best (anything goes) challenges.

Fun Halloween

For some reason I seem to have missed the last couple of Stampfairy challenges- they were on my 'to do' list but it never happened :-(. I have made up for it this week since I prioritised the challenge- which was to make a spooky or fun Halloween card. I have used my Tommy wizard image on this card.
I will also enter the card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch), I love Promarkers (cute) and Passion for Promarkers(stars- on Tommy's hat) challenges.

Belated Birthday

I made this card today for a belated birthday- not that I actually have anyone to give it to that I have forgotten their birthday, but I thought it would be handy to have in the future in case I either forget a birthday or find out about after the day has passed. The image I have used is Sonny Party from Pollycraft.
I will enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft (girls, girls, girls), Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), Passion for Promarkers (stars- on the backing paper), Cute Card Thursday (Sorry) and Digidoodle Shops Best (green and purple) challenges.

We Three (cute) Kings

I can hardly believe it, but this is my 400th blog post!!!! Again, following my pattern I have made sure that this post is for the I love Promarkers challenge (my 1st, 100th, 200th and 300th posts were for the same challenge!). This weeks challenge is 'ain't it cute' and I have used this Elyzbells stamps to make the card. I hope you agree that the three Kings look cute- it reminds me of Three Kings from a school nativity play.

Lavender and Lace

This weeks Digidoodle shops best challenge is the theme lavender and lace. I have also made this card for this weeks CMLI challenge, which was set by GDT Cherry. This week we had to take inspiration from a wonderful photo Cherry had taken of a butterfly. The image I have used here is a Pink Petticoat one.

'U is for Unused Stash'

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is U is for unused stash. I'm sure we all have loads of that! I have made my card using this Digistamp Boutique image (this months freebie), which I have never used before. He is sooo cute and an absolutely amazing freebie! The sentiment digi is also a freebie from Netty's cards- pop along if you like it!
I will also enter this card into this months Digistamp Boutique competition and this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) and Passion for Promarkers (Christmas critters) challenges.

Poorly Chester

I've fallen in love with the Chester set from Pollycraft and treated myself to them last week while Paula had a special 50% off all images. I hardly ever make 'get well soon' cards, but they are handy to have, especially as winter is on its way and no doubt people I know will get ill with coughs, colds and flu...
I will enter this card into this weeks Pollycraft (boys), I love Promarkers (autumn- I have used autumnal colours (oranges and browns)) and CES (autumn) challenges.

Another 4 Tiny Cards

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is to make 4 tiny cards or tags. I made four tiny black and white cards last weekend and have made 4 colourful ones today! I keep seeing cards made with Penny Black images and so I just had to get my one PB stamp out and use it. I have kept the cards simple and they really are small (about 5 x 7 cm), made from offcuts of card.

Spooky!

This weeks I love Promarkers challenge was the theme 'spooky' and so I had to get one of my Pollycraft spooky surprises images out again! I have gone with Lil' Spook this time- I just think he is so cute! He is accompanied by some Halloween doodles from Digistamp Boutique and the sketch I have followed is from this weeks CMLI challenge, which was set by Lauren.

Pink Christmas

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Clare is running a 'pink think and pass it on' campaign. To support her just pick up the banner from her blog and leave her a comment.
Jingle Bells are also running a pink Christmas card week in aid of Breast Cancer Research. You just have to make a pink Christmas card and they will donate money to the campaign. Hence I decided that I would make a pink Christmas card this week! I have followed the recipe set by Rosie on CMLI for this weeks Christmas card challenge (snowflakes, 2 buttons, ribbon, sentiment) and this weeks Willow Sketchie Challenge (sketch and twist- snowflakes).

Baby girl

I made use of Paula's Autumn treat to get myself a few more Pollycraft images last weekend. I especially wanted another baby image and like the little stars collection that Pollycraft have. Here I have used the image along with the sketch from this weeks Pollycraft challenge.

T is for Tiny

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is T is for tiny and they ask you to either make 4 tiny cards or tags. I have great fun making these cards yesterday- they are 10x10cm and so much smaller than I would normally make. The images are from Pink Petticoat and I have stamped snowflakes in the backgrounds for detail. I even got the sewing machine out on two! I'm hoping that by using lots of different textures on the cards that this adds interest.
I will also enter the cards into this weeks Cute Card Thursday (animals), I love Promarkers (distressing- I have added ink distressing round the edges of the panels) and Christmas cards all year round (Halloween colours- black) challenges.

Pretty Girls!

This weeks CES challenge is pretty girls and what is more cute or more pretty than this Lucy image from Digistamp Boutique? I just love her. I have followed the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wedesday on this card.

Autumn Despite the sun!

This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Rosie and the theme was to be inspired by a wonderful photo of a conker that she had taken. I thought of autumn and then saw a calendar on my desk which came free with a copy of C&P this time last year. It was the calender with some free MME papers and they just shout 'autumn'. I had to be a bit creative with the papers since they were very small and hence the patchwork effect. The stitching this time is faux. The image is a favourite of mine from Pollycraft which is perfect for autumn.
