Mediaeval chain mail helmet? Mum spotted a picture of a snood (really a scarf with a hood) in a knitting mag I bought in December. I even splashed out on nice wool to make this, but it hasn't turned out as the photo despite following the pattern. The hood is far too big and the scarf part too small... Grrr... Will see tomorrow if she likes it or not.
