National Send a Card to A Friend Day!

I found out about this day by accident but thought the sentiment behind it was lovely.  Who isn't cheered up by a handmade card arriving in the post?  Just what you need in February.
I was experimenting a little with some flower images from DigiStamp Boutique, to make a few cards which are a bit different to my 'norm'.  What do you think?

Sketch Saturday #499

It's my last Sketch Saturday challenge as part of the DT.  It has been a fab (nearly) 2 years and I have really enjoyed it. Time for me to step aside and let others have a go now.  The DT is such a strong and friendly bunch of ladies I recommend the post to anyone.
Anyway, this week's challenge is sponsored by Scrap N' Dipity- one lucky winner will be able to have a free digital stamp of their choice.

I have used the image I love Carrots Too on my card- thought it was a good one for Easter!

Hope you are inspired to join in this week :-)

Happy Tweet-Day

Another fun and cheerful birdie card for the end of January.  Again the image is from Digi Stamp Boutique.

With this sentiment, I think it is very apt to send to D. Trump any day of the year!

Happy Birthday to Ewe

Over the last year I have become more and more of a sheep fan- I think it is all the crochet I do!  (plus there are some awesome woolie illustrations and products out there!)
This image is from DigiStamp Boutique.

Happy Days

What could be better than a brightly coloured toucan for cheering up a January day?  I love to make bright and cheerful cards- especially when the weather outside is dreary.

The image is another super one from Digi Stamp Boutique (of course!).

PS. do you like my little addition of the party hat??

Sketch Saturday #497

This week's Sketch Saturday challenge is sponsored by Fred She Said Designs.  One lucky winner will receive a $10 gift certificate!

I have made a card using the Emma Smelling the Cherry Blossom Image.

Hope you are inspired to join in this week :-)

Have a fabulous birthday!

Flamingos are so 'in' for really girly things. I just love using this DigiStamp Boutique image :-)

Really pleased with the paper flower on this card too.

What's up dog?

Rather than 'what's up doc?'!  Another cutie from DigiStamp Boutique.

We love you

Sounds odd to use that expression on a card maybe, but thought it would make a nice little card for parents to give to their offspring at a difficult time or if they were going away (going back to uni after the holidays perhaps).
The image and sentiment are from DigiStamp Boutique.

Valentine's bear

Christmas is over and on to Valentine's day! (not really, but I bought the image from DigiStamp Boutique and it is so cute it had to be printed and made into a card ;-)
