..for this week, a card inspired by one of the DT cards on this weeks Retro Sketches challenge.

Icy snowman

I met up with a crafty friend yesterday. We had a fab time in a stamp and art shop in London. I came home and was inspired to get my inks and stamps out and get a bit 'arty' for once.  In fact a went a little mad on this card with stamping.  First I used some Fireworks inks (the nossle was a bit blocked and so it kind of came out in a splodge rather than a spray, but in the end it was ok).  Then it was stamping in black, silver and blue ink.
I will enter the card into this weeks Sketch Saturday and I love Promarkers (embossing) challenges.

I have a big soft spot for DigiStamp Boutique images and had to buy this cheeky monkey kids set the other week.  This card uses the current Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch (plus buttons and a bow). I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (embossing) challenge.

 

M is for mail

M is for mail is the current ABC Christmas challenge.  I found this image in my stash of stamped images I have had for ages and not used.  Thought it was ideal for this challenge. I have used this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday layout on this card (with buttons and a bow).

 

I just couldn't...

...go a whole weekend without using a digistamp!  I bought this Scooting set from DigiStamp Boutique last weekend and couldn't resist printing some of the images off and making a little card.  I will enter the card into this weeks RetroSketches challenge.

 

Another birthday card

This time I have used the current Stamplorations sketch.  It is worth checking out their blog as the DT cards are out of this world.  Amazing! (mine is a rather poor attempt in comparison)

 

Blue and yellow

This weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge is blue and yellow.  I wanted to get a stamp set which I got for my birthday a month ago inky again and I thought this was the perfect challenge for it.  I will also enter the card into this months Stamplorations challenge (borders and stamps).

 

A card for...

...someone in my office who has their PhD viva on Wednesday.  I thought I would make an congrats card in the anticipation that it is successful!
