Me Time Messages

Well crafting is definitely my 'me time' each week and it really helps me relax and switch off from everything else that might have happened so I face the next Monday morning with my batteries to some extent refreshed.  I tend to struggle a little on the art journaling front- both with the journaling (I don't write a diary and it has no appeal whats-so-ever to do so) and the 'arty' side.  But then again, every so often I like to push my crafting out of my comfort zone and I tend to have the most fun on those mini 'journeys'.
Clare's summer Me Time Messages project is great!  The videos are perfect for a novice like me who looks at a piece of paper and a tube of paint and doesn't know where to start.  Last week was the first week and since I went home for the weekend I am a little behind.  Never mind, what are the evenings for, other than adding the next coat of gesso or paint to a project?  I think that my 'journal' envelopes have improved from the first to this weeks, so maybe there is hope by the end of the summer... ;-)
The quotes and images may be a little random, but then it is for 'me' and by 'me' ;-)
Here is the message holder:
The quote; 'Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not stop questioning'.
 Week one's message:
Quote: (above) 'If we knew what we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?' (below) 'An expert is a person who had made all the mistakes that can be made in a very narrow field.'  (spot the typo (deliberate of course;-)?)
 Week Two's message:
Quote 'When you are different sometimes you don't see the millions of people who accept you for what you are.  All you notice is the person who doesn't'
Many, many thanks Clare for the inspiration for this project and so the hours and hours you must be putting in each week for the videos and expert samples.  Can't wait til Friday now :-)
