Heart Bunting

I got this fab kit to make heart bunting for my birthday (thanks Clare). I have been doing it slowly, in between other projects but put it together today- 7 hearts and 7 flowers in total. Might have another go in a different colour someday.

Frog Prince

This is the second pattern I have made from my 'once upon a time in crochet' book. I decided I liked him without the golden ball and so missed that bit out.
I loved the pattern for making the eyes on this one- you make the eye ball, stuff it and then sew it into the eye socket!

Super Cat

One (of the few) patterns from my Amigurumi book that I hadn't made until now. Even looked up how to do colour changes the 'proper' way!
OK, he looks a bit like a squirrel or something other than a cat, but it is the slightly dodgy design not that I didn't follow the pattern!

Tiny Clanger

I'd seen lots of posts for this pattern on Facebook recently. It was free in the Radio Times and also on CBeebies online. To be honest I think Clangers look a bit ugly- like naked mice.
I wasn't interested until someone mentioned it at lunch on day and then it became a bit of a challenge. Pleased with the way it turned out but I haven't changed my opinion of clangers! They are definitely very ugly!

Owl bunting

I was messing around with a friend to find a pattern for her to make some owl bunting as a present. However I liked the design so much I ended up making my own bunting! It might be a bit small- perhaps bunting round a TV screen?

Seven Dwarfs

I was lucky enough to be given 'once upon a time... In crochet' for my birthday. There are some really super patterns but the seven dwarfs were the first to catch my eye. The photos in the book make them look more spherical than mine but I did follow the pattern. Not sure it matters as I like the way they turned out all the same :-)

Giant Chick!

Someone asked me to make a large version of a chick I did in Jan/Feb. Being lazy I doubled the wool and used a larger crochet hook rather than increase the number of stitches.

A couple of cats

A friend asked me to make her a big cat after she saw my giant monkeys the other week. In the end I made two: same pattern just doubled the wool and used a larger hook for the bigger one.
The smaller one was made with the sparkly black wool that Poundshop sell.
 Father and son???

Bear booties

This pattern was in a knitting magazine I got for my birthday. Not sure, but I think they have ended up a bit big- meant for 6 month year old. Also had to change the eyes- the pattern used buttons which are not good for babies!

Hippy bag

I got a copy of the let's make magazine for my birthday which was a crochet issue. One of the project you could make with the free gift was this hippy owl bag. Not made a bag before and so thought I'd do it for a change. Added some lining to make it more usable.
