Seeing as I bought this DigiStamp Boutique image a few weeks ago and have only used it so far on a tag I thought I'd get it out again and make a proper card.  I also wanted to try a rocker card again.

I have been meaning to make a 30th birthday card for my brother for a while.  His birthday isn't until May, but I have to make it before I go away in 7 days time!

Thankyous

I received some fab flower stamps from Clare for Christmas and couldn't wait to get them out and use them. They are perfect for this time of year and thankyou cards I think (although I think they would also be perfect for a lot of different occasions).  Taking inspiration from Clare- the colours and design of some of her projects- I came up with these cards:

Winston in Love

I just adore the DigiStamp Boutique Winston images.  Ok, I should have been spending my time making cards that I NEED rather than a valentines one which I will never use, but I just had to colour this image up and make him into a card...

Daisy Chains

I could really do with making a few more birthday cards for the first few months of next year.  Having said that I seemed to have spent today making every other card except a birthday card... ho hum...  This is the only one I did make.  Again I have gone CAS.  I'm quite pleased with this one for a change.

Christmas Tree

This is another stamped image which was given to me by Debs- thanks so much.  I was inspired to use it this weekend after receiving my Christmas card from her where she had used the image: it was such a amazingly stylish card!  I think I failed to live up to Deb's standard but this is my attempt:

CAS FF card

Betwinchies and Twinchie

The final lot of swap items I made for the Christmas CMLI swap.  This time 4 betwinchies and one twinchie.  I stamped onto shrink plastic, coloured with Promarkers and then shrunk down to size and mounted onto kraft card stock which I had stamped with a a snowflake in silver:

Pillow Boxes

I don't normally make Christmas packaging for gifts as they tend to end up straight in the bin in our house which is a little disheartening if you have spent hours making it.  However, I grew a chilli plant this summer and have lots of chillies which I have dried.  I will give some away as gifts and so have made a couple of pillow boxes to put them in:

Lots of crafting and nothing to show

Debs kindly offered to organise the last swap on CMLI before Christmas this year.  The theme is 'Christmas' but it is open to what you choose to make.  I had a lovely day yesterday, crafting to my hearts content, but I can only give you a sneaky peek of what I made.  We have decided this month to make it a surprise as to what you will receive in the swap.  I will post more photos after 10th Dec- watch this space...

A special anniversary

I have to make two special anniversary cards  for January- one for my Grandparents (65th) and one for my Aunt and Uncle (40th). Another mega purple card

Last week I made a purple card for my cousin's daughter who love the colour purple (she is 18 months old). This week I have made another purple card for her- this time for her birthday (in March- a bit early, but I won't be here between Jan and May and so am trying to be organised- it won't happen, but we can try!).
