I bought this Lenny digi stamp just after Christmas and this is the first time I have used it. The photo doesn't really do the image justice to be honest- I have decoupaged the bears and so they don't look as flat as they do here. However, the card is another inspired by Rosie's 'standing under' theme + sketchie challenge on CMLI this weekend. I will also enter the card into this weeks ABC Christmas (Bears, buttons, brads and bows), Pollycraft Monday (warm it up), Passion for Promarkers (recycle- the corrugated card is from the packaging for a calendar), Digi Doodle Shops Best (anything goes) and Stamping for the Weekend (embossing) challenges.

Standing Under
This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Rosie and it was a sketch with the theme of 'standing under'. It is coming up to the right time of year for this image (or at least I hope spring and April showers are not too far off, although it has become like winter again now here) and so I wanted to use it.
I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (pink and purple), CES (checks) and Digi Doodle Shops Best (anything goes) challenges.

Fruity
I made this fruity card for a summery feel to combat the cold weather that has arrived the last few days and is set to stay with us for a while. (About time too really as we haven't had a winter in the Uk this year yet and it feels unnatural.) I will enter the card into this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge (sketch) and Cute Card Thursday challenge (gems- in the corners).

A birthday card for Dad
Since I'm going away at the end of next week for 2 weeks I really had to make Dad a birthday card before I went as it is his birthday 2 days after I get back. I have used this super James fishing image which I got from Digistamp Boutique a while ago and never used before. I was trying to follow the sketch from this weeks CMLI challenge, set by GDT Kathy, but not sure I have succeeded really. I will also enter the card into this weeks Digidoodle shops best challenge (anything goes).

Beer Monster
I need a fair few birthday cards in the next couple of weeks and so am trying to make a start on them. This is for someone I work with. I will enter the card into this weeks Digi Doodle Shops Best (blues and browns), I love Promarkers (anything goes), Willow Sketchie (sketch), Pollycraft (bingo- buttons, Pollycraft image and punch (corner of image)) and Penny's Paper Crafty (buttons and ribbon) challenges.
Sweet Nativity Kids
I know, another Christmas card and it is only January. Seeing as I may well be absent from October this year, I have to make my Christmas cards early added to by the fact I got this image just before Christmas and never used it yet and so it just had to be coloured! I will enter the card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), I love Promarkers (anything goes) and ABC Christmas (anything goes) challenges and this months Digistamp Boutique customer competition.

Here Come the Girls
I saw this image when looking through my digis and thought it was about time I used it again- it has only had one outing so far and that is far too few for such a good digi! I will enter this card into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (bingo- the diagonal three of flowers, Pollycraft image, and diecuts (nestie, flower and swirls) and I love Promarkers (anything goes) challenge.

Spring Birthday
I have so many birthday cards to make and seem to be making Christmas cards instead... Always the way that you want to make the opposite type of card to what you need. However, I did get one birthday card done yesterday. This is the first time I have used a Robyn's Fetish image, although I have had them for a while. The flowers and nestie are die cut and so I will enter the card into this months Lothian crafts challenge (die cuts). It is actually the first time I have used the foliage die from the flower set and I am really pleased with it.
Christmas presents
This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Karen and the theme was Christmas presents. I have used the Loui presents image from Digistamp Boutique to make this card.
I will also enter the card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), I love Promarkers (cute and cuddly) and ABC Christmas (anything goes) challenges.
Christmas pud Chester
I printed out this image ages ago and have finally got round to making a card with it. I decided that it just had to be teamed with this Christmas pudding backing paper from a Hugs and Honey Christmas set a year and a bit ago. the 'buttons' are die cut using the Nellie Snellen flower nestie die cut set that I received at Christmas from Clare- thanks again!
I will enter this card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch and buttons), ABC Christmas (anything goes), Papertake Weekly (die cut cute), I love Promarkers (cute and cuddly) and Lothian Crafts (die cuts) challenges.

A first birthday
Being organised again, I decided at the weekend to make a card for my cousin's little girl who will be 1 in March. (Really I just wanted to use this image and thought it was perfect for her card.) The image is a Stampfairy one which I won in their first year blog hop.
I will enter this card into this weeks Tip Top Tuesday (anything goes), I love Promarkers (cute and cuddly), Lothian Crafts (die cuts) and Papertake Weekly (die cut cute) challenges.

Return of the Sketchie!!
Today marked the return of the CMLI Saturday challenge and this week it has been set by Rosie. It was a sketch with the theme of something old, something new and something recycled. I have made this card using old papers, new image (from the Lucy Christmas collection from Digi Stamp Boutique) which I got a few weeks ago but hadn't used until today, and recycled flower off a card I was given a long time ago. The corner hearts are also recycled in a sense since they are the left overs from a border punch used on kraft for a card I made a while ago.
I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers (lace and buttons), CES (anything goes), Cute Card Thursday (what's new) and Pollycraft Monday (punch it) challenges and this months DigiStamp Boutique customer competition.
Happy 21st
This is a card for a friend who will be 21 in a few weeks time. I have used some papers which came free with a magazine years ago which I recently found in a box and have fallen in love with (unfortuantly there isn't many of them and so they won't last long!). The image is a recent purchase from Stampfairy which I haven't used before and the button was one from a packet which I bought this morning (it was in the sale in the stationary shop on the way to the bank and so just had to be bought).
I will enter this card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), I love Promarkers (buttons and lace), CES (anything goes) and Cute Card Thursday (what's new) challenges.
Happy Anniversary
Trying to be a bit prepared this year I have made an anniversary card for my friend and her husband for February. The image is 'Little Love Duck' from Meljen's Designs which I haven't used before and I bought a corner punch last Monday which I have used for the first time too (it makes photo slit type corners in case it isn't very visible in this photo.
I will enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft Monday (punch it), CES (anything goes), Cute Card Thursday (what's new) challenges.

Good Luck
This is a card I had been putting off making for ages. My PhD supervisor leaves in a few weeks time and I wanted to make her a card, but of course I am also upset that she is leaving. In the end I have made two cards. This one is more of a 'good luck (in your new job and in Australia) card', whereas the other is more of a 'sorry you are leaving' card. I thought that I might give her this card from just me and use the other (which is bigger) for everyone in the group to sign.
The image I have used on this card is a Pollycraft Swings and Slides one.
Sorry You're Leaving
This is the other card I made for my PhD supervisor who is leaving soon. This card I think I will try and get everyone in the group to sign. The image is another Pollycraft one (from the Cogs and Critters set) and the papers are some I 'discovered' at home. The embossed frame is blue card dry embossed and then sprayed with iridescent varnish, which I haven't used for ages and had forgotten how much it smells!
I have followed the sketch from this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge.
Hugs
This is the other card I made yesterday which I might give to Mum after her op this week. This time I have used a Digistamp Boutique image and have followed this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch.
Get well soon
Having given away the get well soon card that I made with this Chester image a few weeks ago I thought I'd better make another. Mum is due to have a op this week and so I need a card, but then I ended up making two yesterday and so don't know whether to give her this one or the other one... Decisions, decisions! However, I'm sure neither will go to waste as it is that time of year unfortuantly.
This card follows this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge.
