Bank Holiday Monday
Well it must be a Bank Holiday today since it has rained here the whole day! I thought this image was very suitable for today and so decided to make a card with it. I have followed the new sketch on this weeks Stampfairy challenge.
Teddy Bears
This weeks Pollycraft Challenge is the theme teddy bears. I love my teddy images and this is one of my favourite teddies from the Pollycraft Cuthbert and Kiki range. I have decided to check out the cute card Thursday challenge for the first time too after their new DT member, Wynneth, recommended it on CMLI. This weeks challenge is a sketch, which I have followed for this card.

Father's Day
This is the second Father's Day card I have made this year- I only have one Dad of course and so not sure what to do with the other card, but I so wanted to use this Pollycraft image which is the freebie this month. Isn't it fab? Sadly, my Dad would wear clothes in those colours!
I want to enter this card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge (sketch- rotated by 90 degrees), Passion for Promarkers challenge (Twos- two papers, two stars (and 2nd Father's Day card of the year)) and CES challenge (embossing- I have used the fab embossing folder that Clare gave me for my birthday- spot and dots- I love it so much- thankyou!!!!).
K is for Kids and Kraft
This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'K is for Kids and KRAFT cardstock'. You can make either a card or a gift card holder and they have fab little tutorial on how to make the gift card holder. I made this card using some Hugs and Honey papers I had from last Christmas and corrugated Kraft card. (I really want to get some proper kraft base cards, but haven't got any yet and so this was the only kraft card I had.) I have decoupaged the image from one of the papers instead of using a stamped image, for a change.
The sketch is from this weeks CMLI challenge, which had the theme of Christmas. Sorry the photo isn't the best- waited too late to take it.

Finally a card!
I've had a relative crafting drought the last few weeks one way or another. I did want to do some cards last weekend but with going home for my birthday it all got put off. I have missed some really good challenges in the last 3 weeks too :(. Never mind I made this card last night and might get time to make another today. I have used a Pollycraft Swings and Slides image which I hadn't used before- great to work with and a pleasure to colour. I have designed the card for the following challenges this week- Pollycraft Monday (embellishment bingo- buttons, sparkle and charm), Pear Tree Designs (sketch), Digidoodle shops Best (anything goes) and Passion for Promarkers (twos- two designer papers, two different coloured matting papers, two buttons).

30th Birthday Celebrations!!!
Thought I'd share with you my fab load of pressies and cards that I got today for my 30th birthday. I feel so spoilt today with such a lovely lot of presents. Had a nice day with Mum and Dad- went to Stratford this afternoon and did a boat trip along the river and a bit of a stroll too. We were going to get a row boat out, but a bit too windy today! Thanks to everyone who sent me a card or present xxx.

Joy Fold Card
Wow it's been ages since I posted on my blog- sorry I was away the week before last for work and last week was very tired when I got back. Anyway, I made this card (very slowly) the last few evenings for this weeks ABC Christmas challenge- J is for Joy Fold Card. I am really liking the challenges this year for the ABC Christmas blog, with the tutorials to try new techniques.

Thanks a bunch
This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Rosie and the theme was hedgehogs. I don't have any hedgehog stamps or images and am a bit short of time this week and so couldn't really play along, which was a shame :(. However I thought I would use the sketch (but not the theme) on this card where I have used a super Pollycraft Slides and Swings image along with some new papers and flowers I got recently. I will enter this into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (anything goes) and CES challenge (favourite colour combo- purple and teal/turquoise).
Wise Owl
I'm using my Hoot 'who passed' stamp again to make another card in preparation for the people I live with or work with graduating at the end of the summer. This time I have followed the sketch from this weeks Digi Doodle Shop's Best challenge.
Purple and teal
I made this card yesterday for the following challenges this week:
Willow Sketchie Challenge (sketch)
Pollycraft (anything goes)
Pear Tree Designs (anything goes)

SSW 100th Sketch
This week is Sweet Sketch Wednesday's 100th Sketch! I think that is quite some achievement. I have been playing along when I can from about last July or August. I love sketches and their DT cards are lovely. Best of all is the kind comments the DT leave.
Here's my card for this weeks sketch. I will also enter it into this months DigiStamp Boutique competition.
Congrats
A few weeks ago I went back home and picked up this stamp. I didn't use it much last year when I bought it, but I think this year it will be used a lot. I made this card for one of the girls I work with who will complete her degree in the next 2 months. I think I will be making more for my flatmates (who will finish their Masters soon) and for the other girl I work with.
I am entering this into this weeks Pear Tree Designs (free for all) and I love Promarkers (song title- Congratulations by Cliff Richard) challenges.

Tortoise Hugs
I made this card last night using the Pollycraft image Tortoise Hugs. I will enter it into this weeks Pollycraft challenge (anything goes).

Dragons
I made this card to day using some of the new papers I bought last week. The papers were almost too nice to cut up (I've not cut the ones I like best yet :))! This weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge is the theme 'prehistoric', which had me thinking. I don't own any dinosaur images, but I did have this dragon image left over from a image swap last year (thankyou Lauren) and thought that I would use it. I hope this counts as 'prehistoric', although I know it is more accurate perhaps to class dragons as mythical.
I have gone with a pink/peachy colour theme since I thought the image would be ideal for a new baby card (although I don't know anyone due to have a baby). The colour scheme and gingham/tartan papers were inspired by the photo for this weeks CES challenge.
